Find a Mystery House.
There are five Mystery Houses located throughout Montevideo. Clues to each Mystery House are listed on this web page and will be updated. Be the first Girl Scout to discover a Mystery House and receive its certificate. Return the certificate to the Service Unit Manager immediately by calling the phone number listed on the certificate, and earn a prize. Good Luck!
Hint: A good resource to finding streets and locations of our town is a city map located on the inside of most phone books.
Mystery House #1
The first Mystery House is located in the North end of town. I have a great View from the Ridge I'm on, but many other houses look like mine so be sure to check them all! Sorry, Mystery House #1 has already been found.
Mystery House #2
The second Mystery House can be found South of Sheridan Avenue. My color is grey and I live on a corner lot. The sum of my house numbers is 5. If I look out my front door in the morning, I can clearly see the sunrise. Come find me if you can!
Mystery House #3
The third Mystery House is on the edge of town. Some might say I'm close to the Golf Course, but I really enjoy the view of the river. Hope to see you soon! Sorry, Mystery House #3 has already been found.
Mystery House #4
Mystery House #4 is on the North end of town. I'm within walking distance to the school but if I listen carefully I can hear the rumble of airplanes. Sorry, Mystery House #4 has already been found.
Mystery House #5
The last Mystery House is on the outskirts of town. My street name is a place where Butterflies dance and Prairie flowers bloom. I have several neighbors though, so I hope you find me soon. Sorry, Mystery House #5 has already been found.
